Class 1 Superhero Healthy Salad

The children in Class 1 have been learning about how a super hero makes healthy food choices and what foods are good for our bodies. We looked at where our fruit and vegetables come from and how they are harvested. The children then used all their knowledge of food groups, healthy eating, fruits and vegetables to design their own Superhero Salad. Then came the fun part we got to actually make it! There were lots of new skills to learn with preparing food safely and chopping those ingredients. The children then got to taste and evaluate their design and technology projects. Everyone created a unique salad including their favourite flavours.
