Complaints
This section explains what you need to do if you are making a formal complaint against the school or a staff member. It should not be used to raise any general concern you may have. All parental concerns should be discussed with the class teacher or head teacher in the first instance.
If you are not satisfied with the response you have received by the class teacher, please direct your concern to the headteacher, Mrs Ward who will endeavour to find a positive solution to your concern. If you are still unhappy with the outcome of your concern, you can make a formal complaint to the headteacher. Please refer to the complaints policy in the link below.
Complaints put forward by parents of children with special educational needs should by addressed in the first instance to the SENDCo Mrs Underwood if a solution has not been resolved through the child's class teacher. If the parent is not satisfied with the outcome of the complaint made to the SENDCo, the complaint should be directed to the headteacher. The formal complaints process applies in the same way for parents of children with SEND.
Complaints can also be heard from members of the public. These complaints must follow the same procedure as set out in the complaints policy.
