Squirrel Madness!

Lesson: Learning Outside the Classroom

Class: Class 1 Year: 2024 - 2025

Last week we all went a bit squirrel mad!

Right here is evidence of 'in the moment' planning and wow did it have a positive effect on learning!

It all started with a discussion about squirrels and a story about a squirrel take over! This then turned into the children leading their learning, wanting to build traps to capture 'The Wild Squirrels of Woore'. The teamwork displayed was incredible to see. They all worked together to communicate ideas and thoughts on how to build the best trap!
