Roman Testudo Formation!

Lesson: History

Class: Class 2 Year: 2021 - 2022

Today we donned our shields and headed out to the training yard (playground!).  The children have put so much effort into making their shields and even personalising them (not sure if Ceasar would approve!)

We tested ourselves to see how fast we could get into a defensive formation known as a Testudo, or tortoise.

Even Hattie acting as a Celt armed with a tennis ball was not enough to get through their defenses!
