Nest Building

Lesson: Art and design

Class: Class 2 Year: 2022 - 2023

Class 2 have been looking at how artists have been inspired by nature and in particular birds and nests.  Having studied some examples and see how the experts do it (!) we had a go at building nests from a variety of materials.  The children knew that their nests needed to be quite a solid structure for them to add details and decorations.  We built nests in Forest Schoolm using natural materials and in class using a whole range of found materials.
