Natural art inspired by Andy Goldsworthy

Lesson: Art and design

Class: Class 1 Year: 2017 - 2018

Over the summer term, Class 1 have been studying the natural land sculptures of Andy Goldsworthy. The children have worked individually, in small groups and as a whole class when creating their pieces. All of our work was undertaken down in our forest school area where we could collect a variety of natural resources from which to create our art work. Our final piece was our whole class piece where we decided to represent our school logo-Aim High! The children's individual pieces will be shown at the village hall in the art competition at the village produce show at the end of the summer. The children are very excited to show off their masterpieces!
