Mesolithic Homes

Lesson: Art and design

Class: Class 3 Year: 2019 - 2020

Class 3 thoroughly enjoyed designing and making their own Mesolithic Homes! First, we sketched 3 of our own designs, using pictures to help us. We explained why we wanted our designs to look this way and why homes would look like this in the Mesolithic Period. Children used their knowledge well to create their own designs!

We then made our designs out of clay and added a few natural materials to really link them to the Stone Age.
