Woore Goes Platinum Twice!
We are very proud to announce that as a school we have been awarded the Platinum Mark in the School Games Awards.
This is quite an achievement for a small school such as ours. It shows our commitment to sports and healthy lifestyles both in school and in after school clubs. We continue to believe that every child deserves a healthy start to life and so we ensure that we make each of our days as active as possible. We do this through:
- sporting events
- after school clubs
- the daily mile for all classes
- lunchtime games
- curriculum PE
- sporting activity days and trips
- brain breaks in lesson times
This is the second platinum award for our school and we couldn't be more proud. Of course, all of the things we do can only happen due to the energy and enthusiasm of our staff and pupils and the help and support of the parents too!
