The Great Fire of London

This week Class One have been learning all about The Great Fire of London. The children have created their own houses to burn on the fire. We discussed flammable materials and the importance of fire safety. We have been practising the song 'London's Burning' as a class. The children have also wrote a recount of what happened during this time and the reception children have been writing with feathered quills. During our Art lesson we worked together to create a collage scene of the fire of London. The Year One children also used the computer programme 'Paint' to make pictures. Well Done Class One what a fabulous first week back!
