New School Guinea Pigs!
The children have been very excited this week about our new guinea pigs- Gloria, Priscilla and Lola. They have had a very warm welcome from all of the children and we are already over subscribed with our pet club and have needed to organise a rota!!
The children have been learning about how to care for the guinea pigs and know the do's and don'ts to ensure they keep themselves and the guinea pigs safe.
We would like to say a very big THANK YOU to Reaseheath College for donating the guinea pigs and to Pets at Home in Crewe for the amazing new indoor cage. Thank you to some of our Pet club for writing a super letter of request to Pets at Home! Our outdoor hutches have also been donated from a neighbour of Mrs Ward. These have been revamped and now look as good as new!
We still have a lot to learn and are learning about the different vegetables they can and can't eat, we are becoming more knowledgeable every day! Every day is a learning day!
