New Ofsted Report
Please see below a copy of the OFSTED letter received outlining the findings of our recent inspection on Tuesday 21st March 2017.
We are very pleased to report that we continue to be a ‘Good’ school and are on the journey towards ‘Outstanding’. As you will see from the letter, the inspector described our school as a place where ‘pupils thrive in the stimulating indoor and outdoor areas’ and where ‘pupils are polite, kind and thoughtful to each other’.
The report praises strengths in Safeguarding, Leadership and in Teaching and Learning. Teachers ‘plan and deliver interesting and engaging lessons that help pupils make rapid progress in reading and writing. They ask probing and pertinent questions to check pupils’ depth of understanding and provide helpful feedback to pupils on their work’.
