Football Team Makes Progress

In their second match of the season, the Boys' Football Team headed to Whixall in the first round of the Shropshire Small Schools' Cup.  The boys made a great start, bursting into a 4-2 lead by half-time.  A thrilling second half saw more goals as the game finished 6-6.  Despite the disappointment of conceding a last minute equaliser, the boys picked themselves up to score all their penalties in the shootout and, thanks to Henry in goal, they won the shootout 6-4 .  They next play Prees on November 28th.  Well done boys!
