Collective Vision Trust

From 1st February (this Saturday!) we will no longer be a Shropshire Council Maintained School and will be part of the Collective Vision Trust. This is an exciting journey for us as a school and will bring much collaboration and opportunities to support teaching and learning. As we start this journey there will be some changes to school policies as we adopt the policies of the trust, please bear with us on this as we become familiar with these ourselves. Our website will also require some updates to ensure information aligns with that of the trust, this will also include our governor section.

The governors will have a change to their roles going forward and will be called the Local Governor Committee (LGC). There will be less involvement from this committee as we have been used to in the past, however they will continue to meet on a termly basis.

We are looking forward to our much improved technology for staff and pupils with staff each receiving a Macbook and children in classes 2 and 3 an ipad each to use in class. There will be a set of ipads also for class 1. There has been a slight delay with our Zen line coming into the school as the job is a little greater than first anticipated. We are hoping that this will be installed by the end of February. Once this is in, our lovely little school will be transformed into the 21st Century!! Watch this Space!!
