Arthog Day Two

So, Day Two is nearly done.  And today has been a wet day.  Not in terms of the weather, as the sun has shone down on us all day long, but in terms of activities.  Year 6 and Mrs O'Dowd have spent the morning canoeing along the estuary and the coast, and were lucky enough to be joined by dolphins!  Meanwhile Year 5, Mrs Booth and Mr Davies did their gorge walk; plunging into river pools and clambering over rocks up and down the hillside above Fairbourne beach.

This afternoon, the groups swapped - Year 6 took to the river whilst Year 5 headed for a nearby lake to try their hand at open canoeing.   We're now getting ready for tea having had a quick play up in the field and admiring the view across the Rhinog mountains and Barmouth.
