Our First Week in Class 2

Date: 6th Sep 2024 @ 1:41pm

Wow!  What a first week in Class 2!  We have been so impressed with the attitude of our children as they returned to school after the long summer break.  We got stuck in right away to our new learning and the children haven't stopped since!  Maths, English, Science, History have all got going and I have to say the children have done us proud.  It is clear that lots of the children have been working over the summer holidays as our handwriting is looking beautiful.  On Thursday, we spent the afternoon outside, first with forest school and then our first PE lesson.  Next week, things step up again as homework starts and we have our first spelling tests, but I am sure that the children will rise to the occasion!  We will also be getting ready for our harvest festival.  It is already looking like a busy term!
