Opposites Attract

Date: 6th Oct 2020 @ 4:40pm

As you may know we have been exploring magnets as part of our look at forces in Science.  The children have thoroughly enjoyed 'playing' with the magnets; finding materials that attract magnets and seeing how magnets repel and attract each other.

We discussed the idea of poles and how each magnet has a north and south pole (even the round ones!).  The children have picked up all the new words and ideas very quickly indeed.

We still need to look at how magnets are useful in daily life - so expect lots of questions at home over the next few weeks!
