Jungle explorers

Date: 25th Jan 2022 @ 4:34pm

Class 1 have really embraced this terms topic of 'Rumble in the Jungle'. We have learnt about Mangroves today and the children embraced the adventure, creating hats, binoculars and even a boat to help them travel around. Year 1 went on a fun fact hunt where they learnt about animals that live in mangroves, how they adapt to the changing environment as the tides change and how the people who live there travel around in their day to day lives. Many children were shocked to find crabs and sharks in the jungle! We will be continue to learn about different jungles around the world as our learning develops. Next week we are creating our own mini cloud rainforest, Dont forget to bring your bottles!
