Heart Dissection!

We have had an amazing afternoon dissecting hearts! We first just explored the heart, feeling the texture and the weight. Then, we cut into the hearts to explore the aorta, four chambers and the pulmonary artery. We also saw the valves! What a fantastic way to embed our Science knowledge of the circulatory system! We were all very brave.
