D-Day Picnic Lunch

Date: 21st Jun 2024 @ 4:34pm

Recently our school gathered together as a community to commemorate the fallen soldiers on the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings. We listened songs and stories from war veterans - the bravery they showed and what they sacrificed for our freedom.

Then over a traditional British lunch we all thanked them for their sacrifice. 🇬🇧 We would also like to thank our local artist for allowing us to place her beautiful artwork around the school grounds today! And once again a big thanks to Jayne and Mrs Hopwood for organising today’s event! ❤️
