Being creative!

Date: 24th Jan 2018 @ 7:12pm

Class 1 have spent the week so far being very creative in our science and art area. They have taken their inspiration from different kinds of animals and plants and have used models, artefacts and books as their resource.

On our clay table, the children made 3D models of different animals and used a variety of objects to add to the clay to add texture. They experimented with different tools to make marks similar to those on their animals.

Some of us enjoyed painting the peacock feathers and shooting bulbs. The children looked carefully at the artefacts when drawing and painting, taking care to mix the correct colours and draw shapes accurately.
