Netball Competition at Market Drayton Junior School

Today, our team of Year 5 and 6 netballers took to the court against opposition from Hinstock, Buntingsdale and Longlands.  Each game was hard fought and, after the disappointment of losing to Hinstock in the first game, I am pleased to say that the team rallied round and swatted aside the challenge of Buntingsdale!  We needed a win in the last and most daunting match (against Longlands - on the big court no less!).  In a tense, close match we stuck with our opposition but were narrowly beat 2-0.

Mrs McBride and the team have worked so hard in the last few weeks, and they really couldn't;t have done any more.  We are all very proud of you!  Thank you to all the parents who came to watch - we were easily the noisiest team!
